‘NGO Management’ workshop
The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences organized a workshop titled ‘NGO Management’ on Friday, March 20, 12:00 - 15:00 in the A-V Room, New Building. The workshop aimed to enhance share of knowledge and know-how regarding various aspects of NGO types and operation, research coordination, project management and funding opportunities. Five practitioners on the field - four of which were ACT IR alumni, namely Nemanja Grgić, Ioanna Konstantinou, Fjolla Raifi and Sotiris Themistokleous together with our ACT instructor Ruth Sutton – shared their expertise and views (either in person or via Skype) in a public forum of discussion and proposals. Among others, it was an opportunity for current students to see how ACT alumni are changing the world and what prospects are open to them after graduation.
