MITEF Greece Start up competition and VentureGarden: A Thessaloniki Success
A unique success for Venture Garden of the Entrepreneurship Hub, Anatolia School of Business, followed the opening of the MITEF Greece startup Competition 2016 held at the Municipality of Thessaloniki on December 7, 2015. MIT Enterprise Forum Greece announced the 25 semifinalist teams selected to advance to the next round of the MITEF Greece Startup Competition and three of them (out of the four from Thessaloniki) are Venture Garden Thessaloniki graduates.
Specifically, the first team is Electronio - Electric Tilting bike – graduate from the 3rd cohort, the second is Hopewave – Online booking platform for smaller boat itineraries – graduate from the 3th cohort and the last team is BAeTI - a Learning Platform for Building automation software – graduate from the 4th cohort. Due to the event that was co-organized by MITEF Greece, Anatolia School of Business and VentureGarden the participants were informed by the competition. Now they will start a 3 month period of intensive mentoring while they will have the opportunity to improve their business skills, gain hands-on knowledge and valuable input, as well as network in Greece and abroad.
