Anatolia School of Business at ACT, in cooperation with HellasFin, is organizing a round-table event, on Wednesday April 20, at 6pm at Bissell Library of ACT.
The purpose of this event is to give answers to contemporary corporate and business issues that deal with cross-border transactions. Additionally, there will be a discussion on issues concerning portfolio management and the newest tax duties resulting as a result of the political developments.
The event will be in Greek.

A unique success for Venture Garden of the Entrepreneurship Hub, Anatolia School of Business, followed the opening of the MITEF Greece startup Competition 2016 held at the Municipality of Thessaloniki on December 7, 2015. MIT Enterprise Forum Greece announced the 25 semifinalist teams selected to advance to the next round of the MITEF Greece Startup Competition and three of them (out of the four from Thessaloniki) are Venture Garden Thessaloniki graduates.

After seven years of service, John H. “Jack” Clymer will be stepping down as distinguished Chair of the Anatolia College Board of Trustees, but will remain an active member of the Board, taking on new responsibilities as Chair of the Investment Committee. On behalf of the Board of Trustees, we are all very grateful for his devoted years of service. Under his leadership, the school has reached new levels of success and prestige.

The students of the Social Science-Service Learning class shared their experiences, research and thoughts from a semester of theory, community service and interaction with people at the forefront of today’s urgent social issues, through presentations and discussion on Monday December 14th.

A retrospective iconography exhibition at ACT's Bissell Library
Under the title "The Image of the Invisible," Nayia Kaplanidou exhibited 35 of her icons. These icons are indicative of how she has evolved as an iconographer over a period of twenty-nine years. Nayia employs the authentic Byzantine technique using only natural materials which she prepares herself. Her traditional icons are painted on wood with a gold background. She has also painted icons on driftwood allowing her a somewhat more liberal rendition of her iconography.

Two cooperative agreements have been signed, between the American College of Thessaloniki (ACT) and St. Thomas University (STU), in Miami, Florida. The agreements provide the framework for student curricular opportunities at both institutions, student and faculty exchanges, and tuition discounts.
