The Division of Humanities and Social Sciences organized a workshop titled ‘NGO Management’ on Friday, March 20, 12:00 - 15:00 in the A-V Room, New Building. The workshop aimed to enhance share of knowledge and know-how regarding various aspects of NGO types and operation, research coordination, project management and funding opportunities.
The Dukakis Center hosted a presentation of former US diplomat Brady Kiesling's new book on «17 November», on March 2 at Ianos Bookstore in downtown Thessaloniki.

Το ποσό των 300.000 ευρώ από το Open Fund έλαβε ως χρηματοδότηση η επιχειρηματική ομάδα Goodvidio από τη Θεσσαλονίκη που συμμετέχει στο πρόγραμμα VentureGarden, το ολοκληρωμένο πρόγραμμα της Ελληνικής Πρωτοβουλίας (The Hellenic Initiative-THI) που στοχεύει στη δημιουργία μίας νέας γενιάς επιχειρηματιών πραγματοποιείται σε συνεργασία με το Anatolia School of Business του ACT και το ALBA Graduate Business School του American College of Greece.

Σημαντικές ποσότητες τροφίμων, ειδών καθαριότητας, προσωπικής υγιεινής και βρεφικών ειδών συγκεντρώθηκαν χάρη στην προσπάθεια και την κινητοποίηση μαθητών, γονέων, καθηγητών και διοικητικού προσωπικού στο 4ο Anatolia Christmas Charity Drive. Το Charity Drive αποτελεί μία μόνο από τις δράσεις του μεγάλου και πολύπλευρου προγράμματος κοινωνικής ευθύνης του μη κερδοσκοπικού εκπαιδευτικού οργανισμού.

A warm farewell to the Fall 2015 study abroad cohort! This was truly an exceptional Fall semester with a record number of 300 U.S. students taking classes at ACT from mid-September through December. Students came from a large number of partner schools in the U.S. to attend challenging academic classes and also get to know the region and its people.
